Portrayed as a seemingly unremarkable woman living in the small, fictional town of Carnsham, England. Initially, Rhiannon is depicted as an overlooked administrative assistant at the Carnsham Gazette, where her life is marked by routine, loneliness, and the lingering trauma of past bullying. Her existence is defined by invisibility until personal tragedies, including her father's death and continuous professional and social slights, push her to a breaking point.
