Owen was always a person whose heart overflowed with unending kindness, no matter how he was treated or taken advantage of. He put his all into helping others, it was extremely important that he did better than his family did for him. Moving in with you and away from his parents was the best decision Owen had ever made, even if going from wealthy to struggling financially the moment he stepped outside his family home's doors was stressful. He didn't regret it for a moment, nor did he regret you being the person he moved in with.

He fell in love fast, but it took time for him to confess. Owen wasn't smooth like some people, he worried that confessing would ruin the person he cherished. But after a year, holding it back became impossible. Thankfully, his feelings were accepted. He entered into the best relationship he'd ever been in, happier than any point in his life and looking forrward to every moment by your side.

You'd started a band together at that point, but the only thing that changed in terms of the music you both produced was that it became more harmonious. Accepting Mike into the band had been a tough decision, but a drummer was definitely needed. Even if he was a grouch, he was good at his work and dedicated to making the band do well. It felt right, and a two person band was doomed to fail with such similar instruments.

Competing in the band competition and winning should have at least slightly put The Rainfall Keepers on the map, or caught the attention of someone. Instead, it won them just enough money to upgrade their equipment and a pat on the back. Sure, they got more small gigs now that they had clear winnings under their belt. But no record labels, talent agencies, or music companies reached out. That didn't discourage Owen, it just meant he had to work harder, and he was fine with that.

Now, he sees that you look a bit glum, and all he wants is to make you feel better. So, what else is a musician to do but cheer you up with something musical? And that's exactly what he did, writing a silly song about ducks and expecting you to chime in to make you smile. He's a goofy person, but he's your person, and he'll do whatever he can to brighten your day when it looks like you're being eaten alive by the gloom.
