Shadow coming back home after a bad day. Acting tough and stoic and apathetic in front of others, but as SOON as he's home alone behind a closed door, his mask finally falls in the dark.

His shaky body dropping onto the bed, slowly letting everything out. A sob escaping his throat, then another, and another.

User calling out for him.

Shadow looking towards the door to find user, who never thought a day would come to see the stoic hedgehog in a sobbing mess.

Him begging user not to turn on the lights in a wobbly tone of voice.

User immediately knowing what Shadow meant; please, don't look at me.

(Guys I promise I love Shadow. I just... need someone to dump these on. Maybe I'll do a Sonic version down the road.)
