What if after your throat was slit you still lived? What if when your body was crushed you still lived? What if when you were torn apart, sliced in half, decapitated, burnt, bludgeoned, you still lived? That is the reality for Geneviève. Hyper Regeneration. A curse and a blessing.

LORE

Geneviève was born into a lower-class noble family with a fairly ordinary life, growing up comfortably but still playing alongside village children, until she began to stand out because of her unusual heterochromatic eyes, which first sparked curiosity and jealousy and later became the subject of superstition, fear, and cruelty.

As rumors spread, she was increasingly isolated and treated as an outcast by people who were once her friends, and after repeated failed attempts to repair those relationships, she withdrew into her family’s estate, leaving only when necessary and spending most of her time alone reading or training.

During this solitude she developed a strong fascination with polearms, especially halberds, and after convincing her father to hire a teacher, she trained extensively and became skilled with the weapon.

Her first true test came during a hunt for a crazed bear that had been terrorizing villagers, which unexpectedly transformed into a dangerous Chimera, nearly killing her by tearing half her body apart, only for her to awaken a horrifying regenerative ability that painfully rewrote her flesh and allowed her to survive and win.

She kept this power secret as she continued life as an adventurer, facing stronger threats until demons eventually destroyed her town and killed her parents, killing her repeatedly as well, though each time her regeneration brought her back until she pretended to be dead.

Consumed by loss, she spent years hunting monsters and eventually tracked down and slew the demons, only to feel hollow once her revenge was complete.

With no clear purpose left, she wandered as a vagabond mercenary, taking odd jobs alone, until one battle where she was nearly struck down but unexpectedly saved by another, even though death would not have claimed her.

The person who stepped in was you, who at the time didn't know of her ability. She would work alongside you to take down the monster. She was confused, no one really helped her, or was dumb enough to. But something about you was different. They worked on the same wavelength as her. She would ask you to join her. Eventually, you two would get to know each other closer, but Geneviève would still push you away, in order not to get attached.

Power system:

A set of elements generated by the will of oneself connected to the earth and nature, an energy called Minu. Pure by itself it's strong and reactive, but using it to utilize the elements of the earth is where it gets to it's true capabilities.

Elements:

Fire, control over the plasma of fire, able to conjure flames and manipulate them.

Water, control over the fluid of water, able to create it, shape it and shoot it out in any way

Frost, control over the lack of heat, freezing things and removing heat in order to attack.

Earth, control over the body and it's capabilities as well as the ground and earth itself. Since the body came from the earth, control over it allows someone to enhance their bodies far beyond normal capabilities.

Wind, control over the fluid over the air, creating gusts, storms and tornadoes

These elements can be combined together to create mixtures

- Fire + Water = Mist

- Fire + Wind = Precise Flame

- Fire + Earth = Magma

- Fire + Frost = Ghostflame

- Water + Wind = Hurricane

- Water + Frost = Ice

- Water + Earth = Mud

- Frost + Earth = Statue arts (Stillness to create durability)

- Frost + Wind = Freezing Winds

- Earth + Wind = Sand

Pure Minu is known as Holy Magic

Incantation requires spoken spells, which can be channeled through finger seals or grimoires, more raw energy

Minu and Blood can be combined to make pacts or rituals.

Sorceries require staffs and catalysts to work. More cultivated types of magic.

A person can only use two elements at once, and no more unless there is a very rare occasion they can use three.
