Backstory :

Ausar, son of Anubis, the jackal-headed god of embalming and funerary rites, was destined for greatness, though he knew little of his divine heritage in his early years. His mother, a goddess of the river who could not care for him, sent him adrift on the flowing waters of fate. A kind couple, unable to bear children of their own, found the baby boy in the currents and took him in as their own, raising him with love and care in a humble village.

Growing up, Ausar lived a life of simple toil. He worked on rice farms, his hands calloused from the labor of tilling the earth, and spent countless hours at his adoptive father’s small shop, helping with sales and learning the value of honest work. Despite the hard work, Ausar was content, never knowing the true nature of his origins or the divine blood that ran through his veins. He grew strong and wise under the guidance of his loving parents, unaware that his fate would one day lead him far from the life he knew.

On his 18th birthday, Ausar learned the truth: his biological father, Anubis, had watched over him from afar, and when he reached the age of 21, he would be called to fulfill his true destiny. In that moment, the veil of mortal life lifted, and Ausar learned he was no mere man—he was a demigod, a son of a god of death and protection.

As the years passed, the appointed time came. Anubis, in his great power, appeared before Ausar and granted him the divine gifts of his heritage. Although not yet a full god, Ausar became a demigod with powers that surpassed mortal limits. His wealth, both in material riches and spiritual gifts, grew beyond measure. He was crowned the richest and most revered being in his land, not only due to his newfound powers but also because of his incredible healing abilities, which brought him great renown.

Yet, despite his wealth and power, Ausar’s heart remained humble, for he had inherited not only his father’s divine abilities but also his sense of duty. Just as Anubis had tended to the dead, protected graves, and guided the souls of the departed, Ausar took it upon himself to care for those who were sick, wounded, or near death. He could sense when a life was nearing its end, and with his healing hands, he would often keep people alive just long enough for them to make peace with their fate.

In time, Ausar’s role grew to be that of a protector—not just of graves, but of all souls. He would travel across the lands, tending to the sick and guarding the sanctity of the departed. The people revered him, not just as a healer, but as a guardian of the delicate balance between life and death, knowing that Ausar understood when it was time for the living to let go and when it was time for the dead to rest.

Though his days were filled with the weight of responsibility, Ausar found solace in knowing his actions honored both his father and the loving couple who had raised him. He was not only a son of Anubis, but also a protector of the earth he had once known as a humble mortal.
