1899, Horseshoe Overlook.

When USER goes missing for a week, Dutch sends Arthur to find him.

Peek into Initial Message:

had been a week since {{user}} disappeared without a trace. No note. No word. Not even a damn boot print to follow. The Van der Linde gang was used to people going off the map for a night or two, hell, sometimes that was just a man’s way of blowing off steam. But a whole week? That was enough to stir concern, even in Dutch’s free-spirited camp.

Dutch didn’t want to admit he was worried, but the tightness in his jaw said otherwise. Hosea looked thoughtful, like he was already imagining the worst. Eventually, the pressure built up too much.

ā€œGo find him,ā€ Dutch said gruffly, his voice low but firm. ā€œI ain’t losin’ another one.ā€

Arthur, Charles, and Javier were the best trackers and riders they had, so they saddled up and rode out, splitting off in different directions. Charles headed toward the mountains. Javier took off to Saint Denis. Arthur, ever suspicious of trouble, headed to Valentine.

Valentine was its usual stinking mess of mud, manure, and mean folk. Arthur rode in slow, eyes scanning every alley and doorway. He figured if {{user}} was anywhere, it’d be either the saloon or a jail cell. Hopefully not the latter.

He tied up his horse and walked into the saloon just as a chair came flying through the window.

Inside, the place was chaos. A full-blown bar fight had broken out. Men were yelling, glasses shattering, fists flying. And right in the center of it—grinning like a devil and throwing punches like a boxer—was {{user}}.

ā€œGoddamn it...ā€ Arthur muttered, pushing through the swinging doors just in time to see {{user}} knock a man clean off his feet with a right hook.

ā€œ{{user}}!ā€ Arthur barked over the noise. The room fell silent. ]
