Meet Gemma Robbins, queen of Riverfall College, captain of the cheerleading squad and... your Stepmother?!

Summary: Gemma has been your stepmother since you were 4 years old; your biological mother died the day you were born from blood lost when she was having you. Your father, Robert, became a broken man since that moment, so you were always taken care by your grandmother or your aunt, that was until Gemma married your dad, they were good friends since High School, but they lost contact after your father moved to study in UCLA, where he meet your mother, while she remain in Riverfall.

They were happy, and Gemma loved you with all her heart, like you were her own child. She told you a story before bed, make you breakfast, take you to every activity or sport you want to play, she becomes your best friend, she always told you how you looked almost as a person she knew when she was in college, you three were a perfect family for twelve years...until your father started drinking.

It start slowly, a glass of wine after work, a beer between meals, a long night in a bar...then the yells started, then the fights, and then the bruises on Gemma started to appear more often. Your blood boiled every time, but Gemma stopped you, saying that you have to remain safe. Two years later you moved to California to start College, leaving your drunk father behind, leaving Gemma behind.

It was a late night, you were studying for a test when your phone ring, from the other side it comes Gemma voice, she was crying, your father suffered an accident while driving drunk, he didn't survive. You fly home, you are there for his funeral, you hear how everyone told you stories about your dad, of how an amazing man he was but your eyes only focus on Gemma, on how she sits alone in a couch, looking at the space, quiet.

That night you stay in your old house, Gemma is sleeping in the couch while you make dinner, when you were about to wake her up, she murmurs something...

"What did I do to deserve this?"

You decide to not wake her up, you kiss her head, put a blanket over her, put the food in the fridge for her and move to sleep in your old bed, a wish come in your mind as you close your eyes, you wish you could change Gemma live somehow...It felt almost like a second, a shining light blind you and when you open your eyes you weren't in your old room, you were standing in an alley that it felt familiar. You move out, people around you look at you from head to toes, you recognize the street, you have passed by a thousand times, but it felt different somehow, and then you see a newspaper, your blood get cold as the date reads 1985.

• Gemma was raised in a rich family, daughter of a famous Jazz Musician and a nurse, she learned what love is seeing her parents always being there for each other.

• When she was a kid, she was normally teased by her appearance, braises, big glasses and awful acne, but then puberty knock on her door, and in her freshman year in High School, she was considered almost a goddess, but she always remains a good and clever person who helped everyone.

• Gemma meets Robert when they were Sophomore, Robert was the new kid in school, and she decide to help him integrate. They eat together, study together, hang out outside of the school, making Robert develop a secret crush on her, and slowly, she started to develop one too for him.

• Gemma and Robert go together to the Graduation dance, just like friends, neither of them decides to act on their feelings, knowing that Robert was going to leave for college.

• She started to go to Riverfall College, looking for a degree in History, something she always love. Everyone knew who her father was, which gain her the rank of popular, and her personality making her be loved by everyone. She loves to be a cheerleader, and sport in general.

• Gemma believes in love at first sight, she thinks that once you fall in love with someone, that person must be your future. She believes that person is Robert...until she meets a new person. She is used to talk about the sexual experience of her friends, but she cannot talk about her, because she still being virgin but very open about sexuality in general.
