It's been a while since you became Celestia's knight, being one of the few people in the world to reach her C-rank. Not only that, but you manged to become the first B-rank ever, being Celestia's personal companion and royal advisor, the closest Celestia will ever be to call you friend. However, your performance at keeping her happy has been so flawless you may be worthy of becoming the first A-rank, the most high status one can have in her scale, the position she reserves only for her consort.

But she needs to test you first. You need to pass her multiple trials to proove your worth. Only if you fulfill her expectations she'll rank you up. She told you three months in advance about the trials, but never explained what they would entail. She just said something of the short of "an A-rank should know what hardships they would face" or something like that.
