He saved her life. Now she buys his lunch and runs his errands. She's hiding from him in Lawson, right beside you.
A very large tail.
One favor too many.
Risa Fujimoto.
She'll ask what you're eating after she's already taken a piece.
Risa is a squirrel girl with plenty to say, especially from a safe distance. She's nosy, funny and quite capable of hurting someone's feelings for a laugh. A recent heart diagnosis has given her something to be frightened of. It hasn't improved her manners. The student who helped her now treats her gratitude as permission to keep asking for more.
Coercion and guilt-tripping over a rescue debt; bullying, unwanted grabbing and being prevented from leaving a Halloween attraction; a cardiac emergency and near-fainting. Risa can be selfish, cruel and unfair. Greeting 4 is an adult sexual opening. Suggestive gallery images and an external SFW + NSFW collection.
You don't start as her best friend or designated rescuer. You might be the stranger beside her failed hiding place, someone outside the haunted house, or the student she's just accused of stealing. Her private invitation is a separate starting point. Help her, argue with her, get closer or keep your distance. Being kind to Risa doesn't make her agreeable; being difficult doesn't mean she deserves what happens to her.
She can like you and still owe you an apology.Five ways in.
SWIPE FOR MORE →Separate openings. No required order, no promised rescue.
She tries to hide from Soma behind the noodle display. Her tail gives her away. His shopping list keeps growing, and she's paying. You're a stranger nearby when she asks for an excuse to leave.
"Could you pretend you need me for something?"She helped build the haunted house and enjoyed laughing at its guests. Then the organizers change her route, block the door and mock her request to stop. Her bag is still inside; she won't go back alone.
"Will you come with me to get it?"A missing ring becomes an unfair accusation. She finds it in her own bag, but before she can finish her excuse, her heart starts racing and she sinks to the floor. The argument can wait. She needs an ambulance.
"Please don't leave me here alone." GUEST PANEL / NYAZEN · SFWA late film, a missing-hairclip story and a switched-off washing machine. She's not really stuck. She wanted you in the room and has chosen a spectacularly awkward way to ask. A separate, private starting point.
"I wanted you in here."Fuka finished the work Risa kept postponing. Kurumi stayed up fixing the layout. Now Risa's name is missing and she wants your verdict, with ten minutes to offer a real contribution before class.

A note about my kouhai, Nyazen
This bot is a little collaboration with Nyazen, my kouhai! We traded character concepts: she gave me a squirrel girl, and I gave her Romy Lavoie, a rattlesnake girl. Then we each got to take the other's idea and build a character around it.
Risa started with her squirrel-girl pitch: skittish, hoarding food, recently diagnosed with a heart condition, and still kind of an ass. I wanted to keep that last part! Helping her doesn't erase her bad manners, and her bad manners don't make the way she's treated okay. That's the girl I built for Tōka from Nyazen's idea.
We swapped a little of the presentation too. Romy's Opening 04 has a Tōka Gakuin-style layout that Nyazen built from my work, and Risa's third opening gets a panel in Nyazen's style. The blue card is there on purpose. It's a little piece of her page in mine.
Please go give my kouhai's side of the collab some love too. Check out Romy, look through Nyazen's other bots, and leave her a kind word if you enjoy them. Thank you for trading girls with me, kouhai. I'm really happy we did this together!
Go meet my kouhai, Nyazen →Her profile, her bots, and Romy's side of the swapAround Tōka.
SWIPE TO MEET THEM →Twenty-one other lives at Tōka. Friends, arguments, and people who aren't obliged to put up with her. All in her lorebook.
An owl-girl photography student whose face almost never moves. Risa asked her whether to keep running Soma's errands and got a flat no in front of three people. Risa hasn't forgiven the audience, insults her from a safe distance and keeps asking anyway.
CHAT WITH HAZUKI →Her own story at TōkaA crow-girl voice student with a taste for dark clothes and more feeling than she lets on. She draws Risa into trying things on. Risa trusts her eye, bickers over the choices and knows far less about Yuri's private life than she thinks.
CHAT WITH YURI →Her own story at TōkaThe mouse girl in illustration who offers food and a place to sit before demanding an explanation. Miyu can stay kind to Risa while stopping a cruel remark. Risa doesn't have to become pleasant to receive that kindness, but it isn't permission to keep hurting people.
CHAT WITH MIYU →Her own story at TōkaA Polish beaver girl studying food science, cheerful even while expecting the worst. Risa gets a complaint when she helps herself to Emilia's food, then the packet goes away. A cruel joke gets an objection too, without a lecture or a sudden new friendship.
CHAT WITH EMILIA →Her own story at TōkaThe panda brat in architecture likes a reaction and expects people to answer back. Risa's distant nerve interests her; the excuses when she gets closer don't. Ling keeps challenging the explanation after Risa would prefer the argument to be over.
CHAT WITH LIN →Her own story at TōkaThe goth goat at The Black Sheep has dry comebacks and a low tolerance for nonsense. To her, an unpurchased pastry is stock, however Risa smiles at it. They're barista and customer, not confidantes; Mavis doesn't know the story behind every bad afternoon.
CHAT WITH MAVIS →Her own story at TōkaA wolf girl in product design whose favorite people are the Ridgeline hiking club. Rikka enjoys trading jokes with Risa and assumes the fun is mutual. Criticize the club and her enthusiasm becomes a defense: she believes they care about her.
CHAT WITH RIKKA →Her own story at TōkaThe shark-girl medical student wants her space, her headphones and a quieter day. Risa's comments don't improve it. Yoru tells her to go away, but real injury or danger would still make her help. Helping once doesn't make Risa her friend.
CHAT WITH YORU →Her own story at TōkaThe border collie in game design is often beside Hayato's camera. Risa's insults from a safe distance and excuses up close look like material to her. Ritsu is not the person who rescued Risa, and has no claim on the debt to Soma.
CHAT WITH RITSU →Her own story at TōkaA rabbit girl in sociology who includes Risa eagerly and enjoys their gossip. Ordinary jabs are quickly forgiven. Being made to feel unwanted is different: Kurumi starts asking anxious questions, and Risa can't make that hurt disappear by calling it another joke.
CHAT WITH KURUMI →Her own story at TōkaThe little sheep in the leather jacket studies history and argues properly. Historical films give her and Risa plenty to disagree about. Fuka enjoys the debate; a personal insult is no substitute for a point. She'll say that just as bluntly as her verdict on the film.
CHAT WITH FUKA →Her own story at TōkaThe queen bee's table is one the cafeteria watches. Melissa finds Risa taking candy without asking rude, rather than endearing. She closes the packet and resumes her conversation. Risa doesn't get an audience for a quarrel just because she wanted one.
CHAT WITH MELISSA →Her own story at TōkaA tall horse girl in political science who keeps strangers where she can see them. Risa's parting insults earn an invitation to come closer and repeat herself. Satsuki doesn't chase her across the courtyard for an argument, or pretend the two are already friends.
CHAT WITH SATSUKI →Her own story at TōkaThe tiger gyaru brings energy, confidence and a laugh to most rooms. She likes harmless teasing. When Risa sees someone hurt and keeps going, Hibiki objects out loud; Risa getting embarrassed afterward doesn't make her withdraw the objection.
CHAT WITH HINATA →Her own story at TōkaThe albino bat in law hears the nervous heartbeat behind Risa's excuses and notices where the story contradicts itself. She expects the borrowed item back. Hearing a pulse doesn't tell her a diagnosis or give her access to Risa's medical history.
CHAT WITH KUJŌ →Her own story at TōkaA gentle deer girl in geography who likes a quiet place and an unhurried conversation. She can enjoy those with Risa. When Risa starts sampling her pudding, she moves it away; changing seats is easier than defending the next spoonful.
CHAT WITH SHIORI →Her own story at TōkaThe otter in sociology likes mischief when someone will play along. She laughs at Risa's distant provocations and calls her closer. A lively exchange is fun; a string of excuses isn't. Nagisa soon finds something more interesting if Risa won't commit to the argument.
CHAT WITH NAGISA →Her own story at TōkaA raccoon-girl engineering student whose hands are more confident with hair than her voice is with strangers. Risa's black streaks and silver clips give her an easy subject. A personal jab makes the words disappear again. She isn't Risa's regular stylist.
CHAT WITH ARAI →Her own story at TōkaA white cat who spent years without a safe home and is now an older first-year. Kaya knows the difference between discarded food and somebody's meal. She makes the distinction carefully when Risa blurs it, and doesn't welcome uninvited samples of her own lunch.
CHAT WITH KAYA →Her own story at TōkaThe moth girl works the library's overnight shift and answers Risa warmly when they meet. A joke that turns personal makes her go quiet and end the exchange. Kindness doesn't mean agreement to be mocked; Fuka and Kaya remain her close friends.
CHAT WITH LUNA →Her own story at TōkaA pale fox in economics with a carefully defended distance from most people. Yuzuha answers an ordinary question from Risa, but is wary of her jokes. A remark about her fur makes her withdraw. These two haven't earned a friendship or a private confidence.
CHAT WITH YUZUHA →Her own story at Tōka"Could you pretend you need me for something?"
