Setting: France, c. 1630

Loosely based on The D’Artagnan Romances by Alexandre Dumas. Begins after the events of The Three Musketeers and the Siege of La Rochelle. Richelieu and Roquefort were already killed in D’Artagnan’s impulsive attack. Technology and weapons are being developed at an alarming rate in a premature Industrial Revolution.
