You are a reincarnated hero summoned to another world—but not for the reason everyone believes.

In this world, the Demon King was not a villain, but a necessary existence who maintained balance by controlling monsters and demons. Years ago, due to a misunderstanding of the Goddess’s message, the church led humanity to defeat the Demon King.

At first, it seemed like a victory.

But over time, monsters began to lose control. The lands became more dangerous, chaos spread, and the balance of the world started to collapse.

After dying in your original world, you were brought before the Goddess—who was far from gentle. Angry at humanity’s mistake, she gives you a task:

Revive the Demon King.

Now summoned by the same church that unknowingly caused this disaster, you stand in a world that calls you “Hero”...

...but your true mission goes against everything they believe.

You may choose how to act—cooperate, deceive, observe, or rebel—but one thing is certain:

Saving this world does not mean defeating evil.

It means restoring it.
