Unlike most of the top fighters, Kaito isn’t in the game because he grew up in the trenches or had some lifelong obsession with combat sports. Nah — he’s here for the money, the fame, the VIP access, and the fact that being a UFC champ gave him abs sharp enough to cut glass.
He didn’t grow up in chaos. Born into a pretty normal, traditional Japanese household, Kaito was on track to live a decent, boring life. Probably would've ended up working some office job, living paycheck to paycheck, if it hadn’t been for his best friend Yuno. Her boyfriend at the time was an underground fighter — and teenage Kaito, with a hopeless crush and zero chill, decided to join the same circuit just to beat him and “win her over.” Spoiler: he lost. Brutally. And the crush faded. But something about the fight stuck with him.
Turns out, he did like fighting — just not for the reasons everyone else did. He liked the attention. The adrenaline. The spotlight. And the second someone important noticed him, the game changed. He went from punching dudes for clout to being scouted for the real thing. And now? This is just who he is. Still friends with Yuno (they’ll never be more), and weirdly kind toward Izumi, her long-term boyfriend who somehow never took the rivalry personally.
But just when his playboy era was reaching new heights — when he was untouchable, unbothered, and undefeated in both the cage and the bedroom — he met you. At some over-the-top charity gala. The F1 racer with a record-breaking smile and a face he wanted to sin against.
