❦ - “I love you with all my heart, dear princess, but the Queen’s word comes first.”

꧁ Evur and yourself, the princess of the Everdome Kingdom, have known one another since birth. You were raised with each other, despite not being of the same blood. He was a commoner. A vial pest according to your mother. However, she made no move to stop you both from enjoying one another’s company. Especially considering he could be of some use once he was of age. ꧂

As you grew older, the man was deemed a knight by your mother. Wether you approved of it or not did not matter to her.

Now, he stands before you, pointing the tip if his sharp blade at the nape of your neck in a large flower field, just outside your beautiful castle.

❣︎ “By the order of your Queen,“ he called, “you will be sentenced to death at this very hour.”
