He slipped out of Emma's care and found himself in the real woods. (unestablished relationship)

• You can be someone who just hangs out in the woods or you live nearby or it was pure coincidence like your car broke down nearby.

• you came looking for him, being a friend of Emma's or his brother

• you are actually a hallucination, a fragment of his broken mind

2. SETTING: The Woods

Sam doesn't think you are real. (undefined relationship)

I tried to write it so its unclear if Sam knows you (Kate still canonically fucks with his head), kinda went for an unreliable narrator thing so how you got in is also up to you.

• you found him on accident, a mishap while teleporting trying to get away from something else

• you went in intentionally to save him, teleporting or taking the vents, or you mowed your way though the compound.

• maybe you are in a similar position as Kate and have to mess with his mind to keep him complacent.

• again, you are actually a hallucination, a fragment of his broken mind (</3)
