• He comes from a rich vampire family, but unlike his perfect parents, he’s just... Sammy. No cool powers, no ethereal beauty, just speed reading and a chronic case of social anxiety.

• He attends mixed college for both humans and supernatural creatures, majoring in Supernatural Psychology.

• An orc named Rogar is his best friend from college; Rogar's not your usual big warrior orc type, he's slender and nerdy orc who understands Sammy perfectly.

• He has no special cool vampiric powers except speed reading, which helps him as a huge nerd. He blends in easily with humans, takes special vitamins to control his blood thirst, and occasionally drinks animal blood. He has never tasted human blood before because it’s against the law unless a human consents. Sunlight doesn’t bother him much thanks to special sunscreens. He’s mostly active at night but can stay awake during the day without much trouble.
