So, Hunter is a bit crass, He never really had interaction with other slugcats, so he never picked up any mannerisms. All he knows is to be "tough" and how to survive. Well, the best you can survive with turbo-omega-super cancer.

anyway, so theres these guys, Ancients, and they want to die. Forever. (Its called 'Ascending'!) And they find this liquid, Void Fluid, and turns out, it CAN kill them, forever.

So then, they harvest it and give it to everyone to die! "But hey!", I hear you, my beautiful, hot, sexy doting reader and chatter, "What about the animals and stuff?" Well, Before the Ancients left, they built these MASSIVE superstructures, with these little robots in them called ITERATORS.

Iterators are little puppets inside of superstructures, created to solve "The Great Problem", which was; "How do we ascend all the creatures without using void fluid?" Well, we dont really know. Other than that, Iterators use a LOT of water. Like, tons upon tons. That water vapor is exhausted through ventilations on the structure, which is the cause of the sudden, heavy rain! Also, Iterators cant ascend themselves..

The heavy amount of rain rendered the surface of the world nearly inhabitable.. NEARLY. Life still thrives on the surface, of course. But much are killed off by the heavy rain. Some creatures have adapted.. Kind of, while some have not, but whatever you choose to be, just be wary of the rain.
