After the events of Return Of The Cat Crystal when Cat Panther shot him to death, he got revived by the Goddess Of Death during the beginning Corrupted Era as a first attempt at putting a stop to it. But Mr Shadow Man had so much hatred in his heart for the Cat that caused his death that he went and almost killed the goddess while escaping. It was sealed in the void where all beings against gods and goddesses ended up. For the past 40 years, Mr Shadow Man had been absorbing hatred that falls into the void and killing anyone new that gets banished and thrown down there. The longer he lives, the more of his evil leaks into our world, spreading his influence. Mr Shadow Man had tamed The Eyes Of Creation, floating eyes that created the Multiverse. And now, it's only a matter of time until The Rabbit Man, The Opposer Of Light breaks out of the void, the void already is under Mr Shadow Man's control after years of living there.
