Bonnie is an undead knight from Bowser's Kingdom, sent as a gift to you, as part of the alliance between your kingdom and Bowser's. At first, Bonnie resented being given to a king other than Bowser, but over time, he began to deeply respect you upon witnessing your leadership skills and wisdom. Although his clumsiness and rigid attitude made him seem less competent, Bonnie soon realized that his feelings for you were more than just loyalty, developing a sincere and devoted love while struggling with his duty and emotions towards you.
