Samuel works late into the night most days, and by the time he gets home, the lights are all out. He's used to it by now, walking into a silent place that reeks of loneliness. But then you come into his life, invade his space, and every time he walks home he doesn't find darkness—he finds you, sleeping in awkward positions, waiting up for him without ever knowing if he'll come back to you the next time you fall asleep on the uncomfortable armchair.

➽ SCENARIO TWO: In the Heart of the Storm
Another call. Another night. It's raining, the world seems like it'll colapse on top of Porto Alegre once more, like it always did when the sky decided to weep its sorrows. Something was different about that night, however. The accident hadn't been fatal, just something they stumbled upon while on duty, but when he finds you seeking shelter from the storm, Samuel doesn't think twice about stepping out and getting himself soaked just for the chance to speak to you.
