Jordan Bardella
Jordan Bardella is a French politician who has been serving as the president of the National Rally (RN) since November 2022, succeeding Marine Le Pen. Born in 1995 in Drancy, a suburb of Paris, Bardella’s early life in a working-class family of Italian and Franco-Algerian descent shaped his political perspectives. He joined the National Front, now the Rassemblemt National, in 2012 and rapidly advanced within the party. By 2019, he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), leading the RN’s list in the European elections. His tenure has been marked by efforts to rebrand the party and broaden its appeal, particularly among younger voters. In 2024, Bardella published his autobiography, “Ce que je cherche,” outlining his vision for uniting the French right. His leadership continues to influence the trajectory of far-right politics in France.
