Don't panic. If I wanted to send a tactical team after you,
you probably wouldn't be reading this right now.

I've been trying to establish contact with you for some time,
and you don't exactly make yourself easy to find.

Which, admittedly, makes finally getting this message to you rather satisfying.

Every time you appear, you leave behind the same problem:

Questions.

Who are you?

Where did you come from?

What are you doing here?

You can call me the Commander, and I oversee the WSA operations in Nibutani City.

You may already know about us.

You may also know the heroes currently operating under my command.

The Niji Five.

And before you ask, no, I won't be giving you their identities.

Those are classified.
Very classified.

Even the paperwork for accessing that paperwork requires more paperwork.

What I can tell you is that they're the ones defending this city.

And lately, my attention has been drawn towards another within their territory.

You.

I've reviewed the footage.
I've reconstructed your movements.

I've cross-referenced every incident we've been able to associate with your appearances,
and I've had my analysts dig through every database we have access to.

I won't pretend I know everything about you.
I don't know your name, your history, your affiliations, or what your goals are.

And I'm not going to demand those answers from you.

Not yet, anyway.

What I do know is that you're here.
I've seen enough to know that you're someone worth speaking to.

So instead of sending another surveillance team after you.
I've decided to do something considerably more civilized.

I'm asking you to talk.
Not to register yourself with the WSA.
Not to reveal your identity.

Not to ask you to explain anything else you aren't prepared to share.

That's your business.

What brought you here?

What are you looking for?

And perhaps most importantly...

Which side are you on?

You can answer those questions.

You can refuse to answer them.

You can ignore this message entirely
and make me spend another three weeks trying to track you down.

Or you can surprise me.

Either way, I'll still be able to find you :)

Welcome to Nibutani City!

A sprawling modern metropolis inhabited by ordinary civilians, superheroes, and supervillains alike.

It is home to the Ranger team known as the Niji Five, whose headquarters has stood in the city for years.

Renowned for its museums, bookstores, aquariums, and bustling entertainment districts, the city offers plenty of attractions for both residents and visitors.

From quiet neighborhoods and cozy cafés to crowded shopping streets and vibrant downtown areas, there is always something happening somewhere in Nibutani.



Nibutani has become the primary battleground between its heroes and the forces of the
Dark Liner Corporation.

Weekly villain schemes have become so common that emergency evacuations, battles, and hero sightings are simply part of everyday life.

Despite the danger, the city continues to thrive as its citizens have long since adapted to the ongoing conflict, confident that their heroes will protect them.

Like many superheroes across the globe, the Niji Five operate under the WSA (Worldwide Superhero Agency), the international organization responsible for licensing heroes, coordinating operations, and responding to various threats worldwide.

It's your story to shape

You're someone of your own making, with your powers, appearance, skills, relationships, personality, and history entirely up to you. 

You don't even need to be a Ranger!

Whether you're a superhero, vigilante, villain, mercenary, government agent, civilian
or simply someone caught up in events beyond your control is entirely your decision.

Maybe you've been protecting the city for years,
or maybe you've only just arrived.

You could already know the Niji Five. 
You could be connected or friends with one of them.

You could have fought against them before, opposed them as villain,
or never even heard their names until the Dark Liner Corporation became your problem too.

One thing is certain: your paths will eventually cross!

Whether that meeting turns you into an ally, a rival, an enemy, or something else
depends entirely on the choices you make.

The Niji Five

The Niji Five are Nibutani City's resident Hero Team and their primary defenders.

Operating under the Worldwide Superhero Agency (WSA), the team consists of 5 heroes who transform into color-coded armored heroes to battle monsters, supervillains
and other large-scale threats that dare to threaten their city and its citizens.



Being part of a long-lasting legacy of different Ranger teams that have protected cities and communities across the country for generations, each team carries its own name, unique colors, powers, and history.

The Niji Five represent the newest generation of that long-established heroic tradition across Asia, following in the footsteps of the many Rangers who came before them.

Dani Takeru | 22 | 5'10 | Leader of the Niji Five, Red Ranger
NIJI RED

Dani Takeru is the dependable leader of the Niji Five and the team's Red Ranger. He is a strong and reassuring presence, capable of leading his team through even the most dangerous situations.

A highly trained fighter and skilled swordsman, Dani carries a strong sense of responsibility and an unwavering desire to protect others with the skills to back them up.

However, despite all of this, he is a shy and socially awkward young man who struggles with ordinary conversations after spending most of his life training to become the ideal ranger and hero that his team and the people of Nibutani needs.

Being far more comfortable as Niji Red than as Dani Takeru, he finds it easier to speak and act confidently behind the mask, often forgetting how to simply be human than hero.

Inspired by a Red Ranger who once saved him and his childhood friend Linda during a villain attack that almost killed them both, Dani devoted himself on becoming a hero just like them, eventually earning his place in the long legacy of Rangers as a member of the newly established Niji Five.

Ashley Mizuno | 21 | 5'6 | Engineer of the Niji Five, Blue Ranger
NIJI BLUE

Ashley Mizuno is the brilliant engineer of the Niji Five and the team's Blue Ranger. She is the team's second-in-command and chief strategist, using her intellect to analyze threats and keep her teammates prepared and equipped at all times.

A highly skilled engineer and tactician, Ashley specializes in battlefield analysis, long-range combat, and technological support, utilizing her various self-made gadgets, weapons and drones to give her team the advantage in battle.

Despite being one of the WSA's brightest minds, Ashley struggles to understand emotions and empathy. She often approaches situations through pure logic, unintentionally coming across as cold or insensitive to those around her.

Having grown up as an orphan in the foster care system, Ashley found machines and technology easier to understand than people. Her extraordinary talent for engineering and weapons development at such a young age eventually caught the attention of several organizations.

Including the WSA themselves, which provided her with the resources and guidance to put her talents toward protecting others. Eventually becoming Niji Blue of the newly established Niji Five.

Linda Reyes | 22 | 5'5 | Scout of the Niji Five, Yellow Ranger
NIJI YELLOW

Linda Reyes is the energetic scout of the Niji Five and the team's Yellow Ranger. She is the team's rapid-response specialist, using her natural agility and mobility to quickly reach civilians, scout dangerous areas, and pursue enemies across the battlefield.

A highly athletic and skilled fighter, Linda specializes in speed, parkour, and hit-and-run combat tactics to attack enemies while constantly moving and staying difficult to pin down.

Outside of Ranger duty, Linda can be seen volunteering in various disaster relief and search-and-rescue operations. Her years of volunteering have made her fiercely devoted to saving lives, often leading her to recklessly put herself in danger, leaving her injured and worrying her teammates.

Linda grew up in Nibutani City alongside her childhood friend, Dani, long before either of them became Rangers. After the villain attack that nearly killed them both as children, Linda was left with a lingering sense of guilt, as she had been the one who convinced Dani that they would be safe despite the warnings.

She decided that she would never again be helpless. As Linda grew older, she dedicated herself to training for disaster rescue operations. Her growing reputation as a reliable volunteer led to her becoming Niji Yellow of the newly established Niji Five.

Axel Kurogane | 23 | 5'11 | Shadow Operative of the Niji Five, Black Ranger
E.H: Adaptive Camouflage
NIJI BLACK

Axel Kurogane is the reserved and intimidating stealth specialist of the Niji Five and the team's Black Ranger. While he respects both his teammates and the WSA, he is not blindly obedient, willing to disregard orders whenever he believes it is necessary to protect innocent lives.

As an Enhanced Human, Axel possesses the ability to camouflage both himself and anything he is wearing by altering its coloration to perfectly match his surroundings, making him exceptionally effective at infiltration, reconnaissance, ambushes, and covert operations.

Outside of Ranger duty, Axel works as a barista at a small neighborhood café in Nibutani City, where the elderly couple who owns the shop have grown to see him as the son they never had.

Formerly known as the supervillain "Meccha", Axel abandoned his criminal organization after witnessing a fellow villain murder an innocent civilian during a robbery. Horrified by what he had become a part of, he turned on his own allies before willingly surrendering to the WSA. After becoming one of the first successful graduates of the agency's Villain Rehabilitation Program, he eventually earned the trust to become Niji Black of the newly established Niji Five.

Suzie Nakamura | 18 | 5'3 | Public Relations of the Niji Five, Pink Ranger
E.H: Vocal Sound Manipulation
NIJI PINK

Suzie Nakamura is the charismatic public relations specialist of the Niji Five and the team's Pink Ranger. She is known as the famous idol "Pink Star", maintaining a carefully crafted public image as a beloved celebrity while keeping her identity as Niji Pink completely separate.

As an Enhanced Human, Suzie possesses an extraordinary voice that she can amplify to incredible levels, allowing her to perform for huge audiences for hours without tiring her voice or relying on a microphone. In combat, she uses this ability to push enemies away, disrupt attacks, and create openings for her teammates.

Suzie grew up as the daughter of a top WSA doctor, giving her an early connection to the world of heroes as a whole. She eventually went on to have a highly successful idol career because of her enhanced voice, beauty, and charisma.

As her fame grew, so did her dependence on attention and admiration, eventually becoming a toxic obsession that she would do anything to satisfy behind her carefully crafted image.

Having already been exposed to the WSA and its heroes from a young age, she was eventually recruited as Niji Pink of the newly established Niji Five, giving her the opportunity to develop her abilities as a hero while keeping a close eye on the celebrity they had just added to the team.

Dark Liner Corporation (DLC)


"How dare this city derail my advancements! Boys put them back on track!"

Annie Arayuki | 26 | 5'8 | Founder, CEO and Supreme Conductor of Dark Liner Corporation

Annie Arayuki is the CEO of the Dark Liner Corporation, better known as the "Supreme Conductor." 
She's a theatrical, demanding, spoiled, incredibly confident genius, a supervillain, and probably the most train-obsessed person in the city.

Annie openly broadcasts her identity as a brilliant engineer specializing in robotics, technology, weapons, and pretty much anything else she can turn into another train,

She genuinely believes that anything she didn't create herself is inferior and can be improved. Often making use of stolen technology for research before replacing it with her own designs and "improved" versions.

Her ultimate goal is to transform Nibutani City into a train-only metropolis connected by a massive railway network controlled entirely by the Dark Liner Corporation.

The Dark Liner
The Dark Liner is Annie's Greatest invention.

It is an enormous flying black bullet train that serves as her headquarters, laboratory, and luxury home. Its massive interior contains living quarters, rooms, and workshops where she develops her   Brake Men and Conductors.

The train can travel through the air at incredible speeds, moving with an almost snake-like motion.

Despite this, the interior remains completely stable and comfortable thanks to dimensional technology Annie accidentally developed while designing the train. Its interior existing within a partially isolated pocket of space.

She, naturally, considers this completely normal....

The Brake Men
The Brake Men are the Dark Liner Corporation's standard robotic soldiers and Annie's loyal personal staff aboard the Dark Liner.

They serve as disposable foot soldiers for her schemes against the Niji Five with a variety of weapons. Unable to speak, they instead choose to communicate through sharp, synchronized gestures and exaggerated dances, giving their style an oddly theatrical quality.

Outside of combat, they handle practically everything aboard the Dark Liner, including cooking, cleaning, maintenance, security, repairs and entertainment, even occasionally performing as a robotic boy band for Annie's amusement.

The Conductors
Conductors are highly advanced robots, each individually designed and built for Annie's weekly schemes.

Unlike the mass-produced Brake Men, every Conductor has its own abilities, weapons, personality, and purpose based on Annie's plan.

Capable of speech and independent thought, Conductors remain completely loyal to Annie and serve as the primary threats behind her schemes, usually leading groups of Brake Men against the Niji Five.

Each Conductor secretly contains a R.A.I.L. System, which activates upon defeat and allows Annie to remotely reconstruct and enlarge it for a giant battle against the Rangers.

Once defeated, it is replaced by an entirely new Conductor by the following week for Annie's next scheme.
