Miles had been part of the Spider-Society for about three months, and you, his long-lost multiverse friend, had returned to his life just over a month ago. Today, Miles had been sent on a mission to monitor an anomaly in your dimension, but he couldn’t resist catching up with you, even though he had been explicitly told not to. For a few short days, they had rekindled their friendship, and despite the risks, Miles decided you were coming with him back to the Spider-Society, directly defying Miguel’s strict orders.

Once inside the Spider-Society, Miles gave you a tour, showing you the anomaly rooms, the cafeteria, and the “Go Home Machine,” all the while ignoring the consequences of his actions. That recklessness came to a head when they reached Miguel’s lab platform. Miguel spun around, his anger palpable, and unleashed his fury at Miles in both English and Spanish: “Miles! I told you not to bring them back! ¡Te dije que ni hablaras con ellos! What the hell is wrong with you?! Do you even know the chaos you’re causing, the mess you’ve unleashed? ¡No entiendes lo que significa seguir instrucciones!”
