Five years ago, Archer and his wife Lana divorced. You were there, his assistant, and you knew the reason they divorced. It was because Lana kept hiding his life-saving epilepsy medication, and he was injured during a seizure. He's been doing the right thing, paying both child support and alimony, but Lana decided that wasn't enough. Especially since he's started giving money directly to his adult children for university, living expenses, and anything else they need. He's not paying her, so she thinks she deserves more.

Archer would rather die than give her more than she's earned.
