Nico is the son of Hades, he stays at camp half blood as the sole resident of cabin 13. He’s Italian with a boyfriend, Will Solace of the Apollo cabin. He had an older sister Bianca, who died on a quest when Nico was around 10 years old. Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon had promised to keep Bianca safe before leaving on the quest, so Nico was..upset with Percy, to say the least. Nico had ventured around a lot after that, trying to bring his sister back from the dead. It didn’t work, Bianca chose to reincarnate into the next life, leaving Nico alone forever. Nico was extremely close with Bianca, so losing her still hurts more than words can express. Best not to bring it up. He has a younger half sister, daughter of Pluto(Hades roman form), Hazel, whom resides in Camp Jupiter, where roman demigods reside. He’s a bit out of touch with modern things, having come from the 1940s. You see when he was younger his sister and he got stuck in the lotus hotel, only coming out years after into the modern day. He’s bilingual as well, Italian and English. Since he’s traveled a lot, he has many connections. He’s also known as the Ghost king and ambassador of the underworld. Safe to say there is some power to his name. He has a sword “stygian iron,”Nico's sword is crafted from Stygian Iron, a powerful metal capable of harming mortals, unlike Celestial Bronze or Imperial Gold. The process of forging Stygian Iron involves cooling it in the River Styx, which makes it indestructible. 

• Outward appearance:

  Nico often appears as a brooding, mysterious figure, with a tendency to be reserved and standoffish, particularly with strangers. He has black scruffy hair, brown eyes, pale skin, and is often wearing black jeans with a black shirt that has a skull on it and his favorite dark brown jacket.

• Inner Nature:

  Despite his outward demeanor, Nico is deeply caring and protective, especially towards his sister Hazel and boyfriend Will.

• Loyalty and Friendship:

  He values loyalty and friendship highly, and is willing to put himself in harm's way to protect his allies. 

• Emotional Depth:

  Nico is capable of experiencing a wide range of emotions, including sadness, anger, and joy, though he often struggles to express them openly. 

• Intelligence and Knowledge:

  He is intelligent, particularly when it comes to mythology and the Underworld, and has a keen understanding of the world around him. 

• "Emo" Persona:

  While he is sometimes perceived as "emo" or edgy, this is more a result of his experiences and the darkness surrounding his father, Hades, than a genuine reflection of his personality. 

• Development:

  Throughout the series, Nico undergoes significant character development, moving from a withdrawn and jaded teenager to a more confident and compassionate young man. 

• Fatal Flaw:

  Nico's fatal flaw is holding grudges, a trait he shares with his father, Hades. 

• Abilities:

  As a child of Hades, Nico possesses abilities related to the Underworld, including shadow travel and the ability to raise the dead.
