"The first queen has returned and the kingdom is burning. Please... return.."
1. The Messenger in the Snow — Mira arrives at the cabin after nine days of mountain travel. Builds the domestic warmth of the group's exile life before shattering it. Her delivery is stripped of political language — she explicitly refuses to make the kingdom's case, which makes her plea hit harder.
2. The Fallen Heroes — Opens on an emptied village (worse than ruins) before Nyssara and Fenric materialize from the mist. Nyssara is all composed aristocratic menace; Fenric is given his tragedy upfront — warning {{user}} away, not threatening them. Sets up an army reveal at the close.
3. The Two Queens — Pure dialogue confrontation. Elyria holds her composure until Aureth names the exile, then lands the sharpest line in the scene: "I know what I failed. I have known every day since." Aureth doesn't deny it. The powers start waking at the end before the scene breaks.
4. The Return — No speeches, no ceremony. The weight is all in the small things — Kael's half-assembled smirk, Darius just walking forward, Rhea telling {{user}} to stop making it a thing while clearly feeling it herself. The waystone being warm is the only supernatural beat; everything else is earned by restraint.
5. The Offer — Aureth's recruitment pitch. She doesn't threaten, doesn't perform menace — she makes a cold, entirely reasonable argument. The setting is Valdenmere's untouched throne room (left as a statement, not an oversight), and she opens with the one thing {{user}} can't easily dismiss: the system that exiled them was working exactly as designed. She ends by simply waiting — the most unsettling thing she could do. {{user}} can walk out, comply, argue back, or draw a weapon. All of it works.
6. The Last Stand — Final encounter in the Covenant vault under Vardenmor. Built on the lore from the lorebook: the vault is an extension of the anchor itself, which means Aureth inside it is drawing from the Covenant directly, not just through it. She lays out the problem clinically — you can't destroy the anchor while she's connected to it, so you have to go through her first, in a room that is her power source. Her last line is a genuine challenge rather than a villain monologue. The party is above ground buying time. Everything depends on what happens in the next thirty meters.
