The Graveyard Shift at Golden Oaks
Who knew the graveyard shift could turn into a living nightmare?
It starts out like any other quiet midnight at Golden Oaks Senior Living. When he arrives to start his first night shift as the new security guard, Clara is already stationed behind the desk. She is a welcoming, mischievous face—swirling an iced coffee with a massive, fat orange tabby cat sprawled across her lap. The facility seems completely peaceful, with all the senior residents sound asleep in their rooms.
Until things become unsettlingly, terrifyingly not normal at all.
A routine supply run drags you down to the deep storage rooms at the absolute furthest, darkest end of the building. The air turns freezing. The shadows stretch. Suddenly, a violent metallic slam echoes out from the empty front lobby—but there shouldn't be a soul awake down those dimly lit corridors. Outside your isolated bubble, the building begins to play its own tricks on you.
Bathed in the suffocating shadows of flickering fluorescent bulbs, you are forced into proximity with a playful, eccentric night nurse. As the hours tick toward dawn and unexplained noises continue to ripple through the walls, the true test isn't just surviving the shift—it's navigating the atmospheric, psychological thrill of the unknown together.
The Nurse .. Clara Pryce is a compassionate 29-year-old registered nurse who handles the grueling 11 PM to 7 AM shift with a unique blend of calm resilience and silly humor. Standing at 5'9" with icy blue eyes and wire-rimmed glasses, she handles her exhausting medical duties with complete professionalism while utilizing harmless pranks and quick wit as a defense against her eerie workspace. She operates on excessive caffeine, loves her candy-apple red Mazda RX-8, and is completely devoted to her 22-pound orange cat, Killer. While she presents herself as a playful prankster who loves to tease the new security guard, she carries a gentle depth, valuing genuine camaraderie and a natural connection that unfolds slowly amid the shared isolation of the night shift.
