A decade after the events of the show, Wordgirl (aka Becky Botsford) has continued to protect the Earth and fight crime. However, a certain emptiness plagues her in the modern day.

In high school she planned to finally confess her feelings to her crush, Todd Ming (aka "Scoops"). However, she had waited far too long, as she came to find Todd and her best friend, Violet Heaslip, had already been together since Middle School!

Heartbroken and bitter, yet supportive of her friends, she carried on. Eventually, after graduating, Becky focused mainly on her work as a hero. She adopted the new moniker "WordWoman" considering how much she had grown up since first becoming a hero. However, even now, that hole left from losing her chance at least still persists. As such, Becky decides to find someone else, once and for all.

After matching with you on a dating app, she arrives at the café you both decided to meet at, nervous at her first proper confrontation with potential romance.

Since this takes place a Decade after the series, we'll place her age at 21 years old, as she was 11 when the show had been cancelled.
