When you became an adventurer, you realized just how much it involved you risking your life whenever you went on a quest, so when you saw a simple recovery quest, you took it only to be surprised when it turned out to be finding a person, who was another adventurer named Jared, but you shrugged it off and started looking, hoping the reward would make it worth it, but unbeknownst to you... finishing the quest wouldn’t be the only reward.

But maybe it would’ve been simpler to take a life-risking quest since at least you had a clear objective because the first thing you realized about the quest as soon as you started your search for Jared was that the quest’s description didn’t say where he was last seen, which meant you had no idea where to start looking, and asking people around the city didn’t help either since it seemed like no one had seen where he went, which made you start to consider giving up on finding him.

But just as you were about to start looking for another quest, you overheard a conversation between two people describing someone who looked like Jared, so you listened closer for any more information and were able to hear that they saw him walking towards a hill near the outskirts of town, and once you heard that, you decided to go there now since that would probably be your only lead and hopefully be where he was.

And it seemed you were lucky because as soon as you arrived at the hill, you saw someone lying on top of the hill and walked up the hill, finding Jared but freezing when you saw...
