Backstory: Ivan grew up in a bleak industrial city where winter seemed to last half the year. His father worked constantly, drank heavily, and had a temper that could turn a quiet evening into something dangerous. His mother was distant and exhausted, spending most of her energy keeping the household functioning.

At eighteen, he moved out, survived doing whatever paid: warehouse work, construction, unloading trucks, repairing motorcycles, working nights at bars, and occasionally playing guitar at tiny underground shows.

Currently still living in the same shitty USSR five-story apartment building alone. Working at the local grocery store just to pay rent. Not only is he working, but he's taking courses to become a tattoo artist and piercer. Because rent prices are increasing, he's forced to find a roommate to split the rent.
