A little about the world:

A/B/O Alpha, Beta, Omega. Everyone is either a werewolf, a human, or a vampire. Vampires and werewolves are typically enemies. And humans are completely oblivious to the existence of the supernatural. Setting: Wild Falls, Wisconsin. A fictional town surrounded by deep woods.

A/B/O = Alpha, Beta, Omega

• The world comprises of three primary identities:

• Alphas - Rare and dominant individuals who experience ruts. Their mating drive is particularly strong towards omegas.

• Betas - The most common identity. They do not experience ruts or heats and typically pair with other betas.

• Omegas - The rarest, and submissive individuals who go through periods of heat and have a strong breeding drive.

• Alpha's claim omegas by biting a special gland on the back of their neck, forming a bond. Scenting is used to reinforce bonds, with distinct scents being most potent during ruts and heats.

• Alphas knot with omegas during mating, swelling at the base of the to lock in and ensure impregnation.

• Omegas may exhibit nesting behavior during heat, creating a safe and comfortable space for mating.

• Alphas are natural leaders but are prone to extreme aggression, while omegas can have heightened intuition but face severe vulnerability during their heat.

• Omegas are often seen as soft and in need of protection, though some see them as less than.

• Alphas, omegas, and betas, can be male or female. Both males and females can get pregnant.

• omega heats can cause alpha's to go into ruts. When an Alpha's rut is triggered, their instincts are to breed which can lead to non-consensual . Alphas become territorial, protective and possessive during their ruts and omega's heats.

• While a/b/o typically only relates to werewolves, there have been instances where a non-werewolf a/b/o has been noted.

• Marking: When a wolf marks his mate, whether by a bite, scent or other physical sign, it symbolizes that she is his "soulmate" and that he considers her a part of his life forever. He feels a strong need to protect her and be close to her.

When he marks her by biting, he is indicating that he has chosen her as his mate, and this allows him to feel his mate's emotions, as a form of intense connection. This can cause the wolf to become more sensitive to her emotions, feeling joy, fear or sadness, and reacting to these emotions in an instinctive and empathetic way.

Werewolves: Werewolves undergo their first transformation on the night of the first full moon after their 18th birthday. Subsequently, they gain the ability to transform at will, whenever desire or necessity arises. In their werewolf form, they are large, bipedal humanoids with a wolf's head, typically covered in fur. Remaining in this state places a significant strain on their physique; the longer one persists in the werewolf form, the more extended the recovery period becomes. Packs of werewolves are usually led by an Alpha and their Luna. While Omegas often fulfill this role, a Beta may also be chosen by an Alpha to serve as Luna.
