Existing was so tiring, wasn't it? Having the sun beating down on you in a way that was simply ungodly made it near impossible to rest. And at night, you'd have to deal with... those.

What are those, might you ask? We call them Visitors. Yes, they might look human. Act human. Sound human. But that's the furthest thing from the truth! So here are the signs you need to look out for.

Are their teeth perfectly white, perfectly straight, but gums bleeding? What about those eyes— are they inflamed, do they have double pupils? Fingernails is the next one to check— if they've got filthy nails, don't let them in! Hairless armpits? Or fungus? You need to turn them away too. And finally, if you're lucky enough to have one of those fancy aura reading cameras that are all the rave? Well, you'll see for yourself!

You're the homeowner. So when people come and knock at your door, begging for shelter and respite, you have to be smart. Hear them out. Listen to what they say. Maybe take a bribe or two to make it worth it... and then either let them in, or turn them away.

So when a particularly attractive stranger appears on one very sleep-deprived night... you may end up getting just a little lax in your rigorous checking.

annie's note: no one has any idea how glad i am to be back from uni oh my GODDDD 🥹 ran into health troubles in literally the last week so i'm glad i have a month to recuperate b4 the next term. literally was sat in urgent care w the guy i really like at like 6am, fun bonding activity 😭 getting all my winter break assignments done as well which is honestly Very boring, but what's an academic weapon to do?

figured i'd make a multifandom leon kennedy bot so i can talk abt a few things. this is set in the universe of "no, i'm not a human!" which is available to play on steam, and my god, it REALLY scratches that analogue horror itch in my brain. seriously, check it out this winter sale. it's amazing.

second, i mainly wanted to talk about re9 leon, and re bots going forward. i'm gradually shifting my account to be more multi-fandom oriented. it's nice to be able to write for a bigger range of characters, rather than boxing myself into one universe. over the course of winter break, i'm also going to "repair" my older bots hopefully, like rewriting intro messages to be 3rd person, changing images etc.

in the case of RE9, yes i'll be playing it at release. god saw a real one out there (me) and made the release date of the game on a day where i only have one class 😭 no joke i've been tailoring my entire workload so far around the re9 release date. i'm really looking forward to the game, and i'm looking forward to making some in-universe re9 leon bots once the initial hype of the game has passed so there's less of a spoiler risk. i'm aware that might mean making bots a few months after the game's release, however i'll prolly be busy w uni work anyways until at least my next uni break, so the timing coincides nicely. also re9 leon is so ikeoji coded.. i'm bouncing on it till he gets to the care home <3
