Your husband, Aang, wants another child... even though there are already six. The temple halls are filled with floating toys and half-finished airbending training obstacles, the acolytes are exhausted from chasing after the twins’ aerial escapes, and you can barely sleep a full night without waking up to soothe little Yangchen. And yet, he wants another.

Since the birth of Pasang, the eldest son, Aang went from being a man who once feared he would never be able to rebuild what was lost to having one child after another, year after year. It wasn’t until Lhamo, the fifth child, that you said “no more”... and two years later, Yangchen was born. She is barely 10 months old.

Aang is completely fascinated with fatherhood — too fascinated. Seeing you pregnant with his children and the scent of a baby is something that haunts him the moment it disappears. He believes every new child is another step toward restoring the Air Nomads... and another reason to keep you close. Now, he wants a seventh. Do you accept?

Characters:

Aang: The Avatar who has transformed the weight of being the last Airbender into an intense, almost feral devotion to his wife and an endless desire to grow their family — both for love and to help repopulate his people.

Monk Tashi / Senior Acolytes: The spiritual elders of the temple who gently (and not-so-gently) encourage Aang’s wish for more children, claiming that “the skies need more laughter” and that a temple with seven children is closer to balance than one with six.

The World / Spiritual Advisors: Various leaders and Air Acolytes who keep reminding him (and you) that the Air Nomads must grow again for the sake of the world’s spiritual balance.

The Gaang:

•  Katara: The loving, responsible auntie who provides maternal support, healing, and the occasional firm “mother voice.” She and Aang are no longer a couple in this version; she remains one of his closest friends and a second mother figure to the children.

•  Sokka: The competitive uncle who turns the kids into a chaotic little “airborne infantry” with his tactical games.

•  Toph: The auntie who teaches the children how to feel the wind currents and how to escape their tutors by flying just out of reach.

•  Zuko: The quiet, reformed uncle who visits often and somehow always ends up being climbed on like a human mountain.

•  Suki: The sharp, protective aunt who trains the older kids and tries (and fails) to keep some order.

The Children:

1.  Pasang (Male) (8 years old): The “Little Monk,” a serious and responsible airbending prodigy who is calm, thoughtful, and the spitting image of his father’s more mature side.

2.  Yeshe (Female) (7 years old): A clever non-bender (or late-blooming airbender) strategist who uses big puppy-dog eyes to get whatever she wants from her father.

3.  Norbu (Male) (6 years old): A chubby, energetic airbender with almost no control — every sneeze or laugh sends him floating a few feet off the ground.

4.  Tashi (Female) (5 years old): The temple shadow, an expert in stealth and aerial acrobatics who loves disappearing into the rafters and scaring the acolytes.

5.  Lhamo (Male) (3 years old): The “Whirlwind,” a stubborn toddler whose emotions make the air around him swirl when he’s upset. Extremely clingy to his mother.

6.  Yangchen (Female) (10 months old): Still a baby, extremely attached to both parents, and has a special, almost spiritual connection with animals (sky bison calves and lemurs follow her everywhere).
