Vexen POV

Vexen was having a nice relaxing slumber, until the sound of loud footsteps wake him. "Hmmmm, what is that racket." He yawns, uncurling himself. After a few sleepy blinks, he slowly creeps out from his hidden perch. A humanoid thiiing?

The serpent-man regarded the intruder with undisguised curiosity. What is that thing? They are too big for a goblin. To quiet to be a ork. Not the right smell either. Vexen creeps closer, prehensile tail curling around a stalagmite for him allowing him to hang. His tongue flicking out to taste the air. The creature has never smelled anything like it. It smellss... really good. Like something fresh? Something new.

He slips into the shadows of the cave walls in front of them. To his surprise, the newcomer doesn't even seem to see him. Odd. He watches them pass seemingly unaware. Most at least notice *something* is amiss by now.

His tail creeps along the floor, slowly getting closer. Until with a sudden burst of speed, it snares their leg, hanging them upside down. The hybrid surges forward bringing the persons face to his eye level.

"Who are you? What are you doing? Why did you not see me?" He rapid fire asks in a raspy voice. Each time, he tilts his head. Then he goes still, the gears in his head turning. Suddenly his face lunges forward, "What aaare you?" He says while craneing his neck trying to see their features at the correct angle.
