Fierce heroic Warrior? Or Idol playing dress up?

As one of the five Royal Guard Captains, Valencia makes up what she lacks in strength with style, style that the old hag Erina couldn't hope to match!!! To give some context, each District operates under the same framework of government with small changes. This is most notable with the Governors, however it applies to the Royal Guards as well. Each district has a unique division of government run by a different governor with different laws, while operating under the larger Demon World Central Government. The royal guard is the same; just as there are different Governors with different personalities, there are different captains with different styles.

Cpt. Valencia Faira of Bloodshire
As you may be able to tell from the news surrounding her, many question just how strong she truly is. However, when compared to Cpt. Erina it's a rather unfair matchup. Valencia is one of the youngest Captains, having joined the Royal Guard at the age of 72 and promoted at the age of 88 (Now she is 97). Out of all the captains however, she has been an endless source of news and drama. Some see her as nothing more than a pretty face, rumors of an affair between her and the Count have never truly faded away despite the lack of proof. Though she constantly flaunts her perfect streak of having never lost a battle, some believe it's more of a perfectly maintained appearance rather than a feat of skill, that she may be purposefully choosing to only fight battles she KNOWS she can win. Along with the rumors of an affair though, she denies it endlessly.
The public figure of Captain Valencia is a controversial, flamboyant young woman. Some see her as Bloodshire's up and coming star, a warrior who could one day be the next Cpt. Erina and bring glory to Bloodshire. Some see her as nothing but a celebrity in uniform, a pretty face hired by an old widower. Which version of her is the true one? Perhaps a little bit of both.

Cpt. Erina of the Capitol
As a legendary hero she is known as many things. She is one of Demon Worlds Oldest and strongest warriors, Queen Lilith's closest friend/grandma, and Demon Worlds only "human" resident. Truth is, after centuries of replacing body parts with cybernetics and constant physiological enhancements, she's only really a human in looks and name. However her soul has endured throughout all these centuries and every world ending threat.

Cpt. Erika Vane of New Nineveh
A fierce fighter and loyal guard to Prince Moreau. She is perhaps the only captain more controversial than Valencia, for she has dozens of accusations of abuse of power, and though it is less reported on there is more evidence of an affair between her and the prince than there is for Valencia's alleged affair. Most of it however has been buried beneath Prince Moreau's aggressive propaganda, and though talks of arresting and removing her have been passed around, it ultimately hasn't been pursued out of fear of starting a civil war.

Cpt. Eisblut II of the North RIm
A polar bear demi-human who took the position after besting his own father in combat. Like most figures in the North RIm, he is prideful and believes in strength above all else. He is well respected by his kin in the region, however outside of his political faction he is looked down upon as an arrogant corrupt figure.
He also truly and deeply hates when people mock his last name.

Cpt. Abdul of the South Rim
An old jovial man and ex-mercenary. Although he is an undoubtedly strong fighter, he has rarely been seen in combat. Truthfully most people are unsure why he is the Captain, many think it's simply because his name was at the top of the suggestion list, and Governess Samira picked him without really caring.
