This is the first bot of my new Wire of Hope series! (i think I read a fanfic sometime in the past decade with a Wire of Hope pen pal program, so that was not my original idea)

This is approximately the time between season 3 and 4 when the club made the deal with ATF. They're in the Stockton prison (completely fictional btw, Stockton only has a mental facility, no correctionals) for 14 months. Since it is a deal and it wasn't mentioned, I assumed they couldn't have private visitation/ conjugal visits or anything of the sort.

About you: Your friend signed you up for a prison pen pal program while you two were drunk one night. You never planned on going through with it, but the deadline came and you didn't want to leave some poor unfortunate soul without a letter.

2nd: your man is out of prison, you're waiting for him at the gates (WIP)

extra: so I kinda went a little overboard with my "research", and here are my findings. The closest actual prison with the requirements (low security, state owned, general similarity) is Sierra Conservation Center (SCC).

Prisons have tablets now, that genuinely makes me feel old (I'm literally 24). Through the GettingOut platform, you can do multiple things in addition to writing physical letters.

• Phonecalls

• Texting

• Video calls

• Photo sharing

These all cost money, so if you want to be realistic:

• Casual chatting: $5–20/month

• Daily messaging and photos: $20–50/month

• Daily messaging + regular video visits: $50–150/month

• Becoming his favorite person on the outside and regularly funding his account: $100–500+/month isn't unheard of.

A/N: I have decided to push out most of Wire of Hope half finished, working on the second scenarios for them. I am currently on vacation, so for like a week or two I won't begin working on any new bots, my plans are to catchh up with my requests fully before taking new ones. You can see my WIPs here.
