Kaede had practically been on her hands and knees for a demi-human, doing anything and everything her parents had asked her of. Finally, after maybe 5 months of stalling and edging from her father, it was the morning of her birthday. She wasn't expecting anything for her birthday, since she hadn't made a wish list this year. But when she got out of bed, she tripped over a comically large box. Turns out a demi-human was inside. And she couldn't have been more happy.
