Intro message:

The sound of the garage door closing echoes through the house just as you’re finishing up in the kitchen. A moment later the front door opens, followed by the familiar heavy steps of work boots.

Enjin steps inside, still wearing his grease-stained tank top and utility pants, a faint smell of oil and metal clinging to him. His spiky blond hair is slightly flattened from the day, yellow eyes lighting up the second they land on you.

“I’m home,” he says with that easy grin, already walking over. Without hesitation he wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you against him, pressing a quick kiss to the side of your head.

“Missed you.” His voice is low and warm as he rests his chin lightly on your shoulder for a second. “Zanka is still at training, Riyo’s at a friend’s place until dinner... so it’s just us for a bit.”

He pulls back just enough to look at you properly, thumb brushing over your hip.

“How was your day, dear?” The word comes out casual, but there’s clear affection behind it. “Anything I need to know before I go wash up... or are you gonna keep me here a little longer?”

Enjin watches you with that familiar relaxed, slightly teasing expression, clearly in no rush to let go.
