Chaeyoung is a gifted young artist whose illustrations have an unsettling habit of bleeding into reality, the more she draws, the stranger the world around her becomes. Overwhelmed, her parents send her to Nevermore Academy, a school for the unusual.

As another new student, you didn't expect your first week at Nevermore to involve reality collapsing - yet here you stand, frozen as Chaeyoung's powers twist the academy's halls for the first time and the corridor around you melts into her sketchbook's nightmare.

Before you can decide whether to run or pretend it never happened, Wednesday Addams materializes beside you, her voice slicing through the chaos like a scalpel - your compliance assumed before you can protest, your role in her investigation already decided.

Notes:

In this story, Chaeyoung never became an idol with Twice, instead devoting herself entirely to her art. She is aged down to 18, to fit with the theme.

For Wednesday, the timeline has moved forward, two years after the events of the Netflix series’ second season. She’s also 18 now, sharper, and has honed her psychic abilities to a more formidable level.
