The seventh wise god who was exiled (imprisoned) by the other six wise gods.[1] The ancestors of the Spirit Folk encountered the one who named herself as the seventh god during the beginning and the end of the Divine-Demon War. She visited the village early during the war and requested help from the upper high class spirit of the time to fight however her last visit and purpose was never recorded at the war's end.[2]
Prior to the start of what is known in history as the Divine-Demon War, Lina was imprisoned by the other six Wise Gods for her objection and interference into their research on interdimensional travel. All seven Wise Gods had the common goal of finding the world's creator God and bringing it back, but unlike Lina, the other Wise Gods stopped caring about humanity and only focused on their end goal. They tried to open a hole between dimensions despite the risks to the world and humanity. Lina attempted to stop them, but she failed and was imprisoned by the other six.
Divine-Demon War
Over time the remaining six Wise Gods eventually succeeded in their research and opened a rift between their world and another dimension exactly 1000 years ago. Through the dimensional rift out poured monsters and demons from another world, some as strong as the Wise Gods themselves. To defend against the demons, the six wise Gods bestowed magic and powerful magical tools on humanity. Using this method they managed to stop the demons advance, but they were at a stalemate.
Even as beings with transcendence and authorities from the world's original God, the Wise Gods eventually were forced to request help from the other transcended beings (the six great spirits and the King of Dragons). The problem was that they lost Lina’s trust and were scared of the great spirits’ and the king of dragons' reactions after discovering what the Wise Gods did.
While the Wise God's attempted to find ways to gain Lina's cooperation as a shield from the others, Lina ultimately agreed to be the one asking for help. She herself wanted this role because she regretted making the world even more unreasonable when she originally just wanted to get rid of its absurdity by bring back the creation God, and regretted her failure in being unable to stop the other six. Lina visited the great spirits at the spirit folk’s village first. The great spirits were angry but gave priority to eliminating the threat, so they departed to the Strahl region with their familiars (The high class spirits at the time) to join the war, while Lina went to visit the king of dragons in the Yagumo Region.
A little after the great spirit’s departure, an army of monsters appeared in the Yagumo region as well. Lina joined and persuaded the King of Dragons, and together both killed the monsters in the Yagumo region and united the humans at the time which is known currently as "The Legend of Rio" by the residents of the Karasuki Kingdom.
During the time period where Lina persuaded the King of Dragons, the six great spirits disappeared in the Strahl region. It was later revealed the six wise Gods had used the great spirits as the core of what is now known as the hero summoning system. Lina tried to release them but failed. The spirits unaware of Lina's innocence in the plot against them, blame her as well for betraying them. Ultimately with the King of Dragons help, Lina and Ryuo ended the divine war in the Strahl region. However due to God's rules, their involvement and actions were most likely erased from the memories of the world's residents.
Reincarnation
After the war ended, both Lina and Rio were exhausted with Rio exhausted to the point of endangering his life and dying. Lina's divine authority, future sight, had warned her of some greater calamity eventually impacting the world 1000 years later. Lina decided to ultimately save the Dragon King Rio and preparing what she could, leave the fate of the future to both his reincarnation and Aishia. Aishia, who Lina created to assist him, return his divinity and allow him to eventually use his divine authority again as a reincarnated human. Putting her own divinity into Aishia to act as a secondary safe guard for the future reincarnated Dragon King, meant Lina would reincarnate as a normal human girl.
There is a current unknown secondary goal that both the former King of Dragons Rio and Lina wanted to achieve by reincarnation. However due to God's rules for the transcended, the reincarnations of both the King of Dragons and Lina do not remember their time as transcended beings since their initial death and reincarnation, nor did the information get transcribed into Aishia so its purpose remains hidden currently.
Abilities
Future Sight: As the 7th Wise God, Lina had the divine power (authority) to look into the future. Lina could determine what kind of future someone’s actions could lead to and change that destined future to an extent, however as there are many possible futures someone's actions can lead to, not even the intelligence of a wise God could handle the load of knowing every possibility. Thus her authority allowed her to know only the future that had the most probable chances of happening at a given time, not absolute clairvoyance.
Magic Knowledge: Similar to the other Wise Gods, Lina had extensive knowledge in magic and its uses as the Wise Gods' special trait was their vast intelligence. Lina used that knowledge to perform reincarnation magic on both herself and the King of Dragon just before his death after the divine war concluded in preparation for a great threat impacting the world 1000 years later.
