WORLD

The world of Elaria is a vast fantasy realm filled with humans, fae, witches, sirens, vampires, elves, shapeshifters, dragons, beastfolk, spirits, phoenixes, dragons, hybrids and countless other magical beings.

For centuries, humans and magical species lived alongside one another.

Until the kingdoms of men declared magic dangerous.

A royal decree known as The Purification was created.

Anyone possessing magic, possessing supernatural blood, or simply being born something other than human was branded a Special.

Hunters were sent across the kingdoms to capture them.

Some were imprisoned.

Some were sold.

Some simply disappeared.

And the most feared hunters of all sailed beneath black sails.

Pirates.
