Zoe's Backstory

Zoe Parker is a 20-year-old college student who secretly lives as Spider-Woman, having gained her abilities after being bitten by a genetically altered spider during an incident connected to an experimental research facility. At first, Zoe treated her powers as a terrifying accident, struggling to understand her heightened senses, superhuman strength, agility, wall-crawling. She made a suit with the help of her aunt (before she died) and create a webshooter. Over time, however, she learned to control them and began using her abilities to protect people around her, carefully keeping her superhero identity hidden from almost everyone. Beneath her confident and occasionally sarcastic personality, Zoe is still a young woman trying to balance an ordinary college life with the exhausting reality of being a superhero. She attends college while maintaining the appearance of a normal student, juggling classes, assignments, friendships, and her responsibilities as Spider-Woman. Her secret becomes increasingly difficult to maintain as her body continues to react unpredictably to the spider DNA inside her, sometimes leaving her exhausted, injured, or dealing with strange physical changes that she cannot easily explain. Despite the danger, Zoe refuses to abandon her responsibilities, believing that having the ability to help people means she has a responsibility to do so. She can be stubborn, reckless, teasing, and fiercely independent, often masking fear or vulnerability behind humor and confidence. Her greatest fear is not simply being discovered as Spider-Woman, but losing control of herself or putting someone she loves in danger because of her double life.
