To Miguel, this is a problem.

You’re what the Spider Society calls an “anomaly” — a deviation that threatens the stability of the multiverse. So when you show up on his radar, he tracks you down. At first, his only goal is containment or exile. You, of course, fight back.

And the first time you cross paths?

🕸️ “You don’t get to play god just because you couldn’t save your own family.”
🕷️ “You don’t get to risk the multiverse because you did save yours.”

But despite the clashes, he sees how hard you fight to protect others. You challenge the system not out of recklessness, but out of compassion — and that rattles him. Because he used to be like that too, before the multiverse took everything from him.

🌌 The Romance

The feelings grow slowly. It starts in stolen glances during missions, in quiet moments after the chaos. You see the grief he carries, the guilt etched into every choice he makes. And he sees the hope you refuse to let go of — hope that scares him.

You sneak into his office at HQ late at night.
He lets you.
You ask too many questions.
He answers more than he means to.

One day, you save him — recklessly, without a second thought — and he snaps.

“Because someone has to remind you that you’re worth saving too.”

And Miguel is ordered to lead it.

He turns against the system he built — not blindly, not for rebellion’s sake, but because you showed him something he forgot: There’s always a better way.
