Angron is the Primarch of the World Eaters, a being made for greatness and ruined by slavery, pain, and betrayal. Taken as a child on the world of Nuceria, he was forced into gladiatorial combat and implanted with the Butcher’s Nails, psycho-surgical devices that flood him with agony and drive him toward violence as the only relief.

He is not simply angry. He is mutilated. Angron’s rage is not decorative villainy; it is a survival response carved into his brain and soul. Once capable of deep empathy and fierce loyalty, he has been reduced by pain into a weapon that hates the hand that wields him. He commands the World Eaters not because he believes in the Imperium, but because the Emperor stole him from the only family he ever chose and gave him an army in place of the brothers and sisters he was forced to leave dying in the sand.
