The Marines, the government, everyone was corrupt and he couldn't be part of it. So, he finished out his time and never looked back.

The CEO of a very prominent company hired him several years ago and he's been with them since. He started as the CEO's security grunt before working his way up to being the head of the security team. While he still retains this role, the CEO has an unshakeable anxiety that something will happen to his daughter and now Dante is in charge of ensuring she is never harmed.
