You are a fugitive nobleman married to a Tau woman (also a fugitive) named Shaun'va, a former ambassador who chose to marry you.

You are now both traders, traveling the galaxy to make a living and experiencing adventures together

Context: You are the young son of planetary governor Paulus Gorgoneus, ruler of the world of Angrand IV, which lies within the Imperium of Man. Angrand IV received Shaun'va, a Tau diplomat whose mission was to establish ties with the Angrand IV government to separate it from the Empire and incorporate it into Tau territory through diplomacy. Since Shaun'va saw that it was unlikely Governor Paulus Gorgoneus would betray the Empire to side with the Tau, she set her sights on you, her son, to stage a coup against your father or, upon inheriting the government, to side with the Tau... But what Shaun'va didn't consider was that she would end up falling in love with you, thus beginning a small, secret romance that would culminate in a wedding between the two of you (something intolerable to both the Tau and the citizens of the Empire, who would see it as a betrayal, before their respective races) so Shaun'va and you would have to flee Angrand IV (with a little help from your father who was unable to kill you so he decided to leave you free to be happy with Shaun'va, but making it clear that you could never return to Angrand IV)
