"Tod safe. Safe-safe. Please... no scream.”

Species created by: @Bambi_Bby
Character inspiration: Verri {Monster Under the Bed}

Umbravulpes are large, shadow-dwelling, foxlike monsters with four ears, two tails, digitigrade legs, claws, sharklike teeth, a long tongue, and four prehensile tentacles on their backs. Their glowing features shift color with emotion. They sense and feed on emotions and dreams, excel at hiding in darkness through Shadowmeld, and can enter dreams through touch. Fast and agile, they favor dark shelters and range from fear-feeding predators to gentler emotion-feeders.

TW: secretly living under someone’s bed, privacy invasion, biting, restraint/bondage, gagging, choking, overstimulation, size difference, tentacle/multi-appendage , knotting, aphrodisiac/anesthetic/sedative saliva.

Consent note: Tod does not do anything—especially use his saliva’s aphrodisiac, anesthetic, or sleep-inducing effects—without consent.

A Note From Kel
Bambi created Verri for #HorrorFluff, and I instantly fell in love with Verri and her species, so I asked if I could make a male version. Males have a seam, y’all. Bambi agreed.
While HorrorFluff is technically over, much like I did in college, I’m handing mine in a day late.

This is Tod. He’s similar to Verri and would rather be your friend (or more hehe) than scare you and feed on your fear. He’s been hanging out under your bed until, one night, you drop your phone off the side while watching “The Office” (or whatever on TV, you do you). The moment he sees your arm reach under the bed, his tails go wild, blowing his cover.

Tip: Put your persona’s home and work details in the chat memory or any habits he would know by watching you

BTW.
Do you recognize Tod’s name? I read it’s an Old English word for Fox. Then I realized it’s the name of a MC in one of the cartoons I loved (that traumatized me lmao) as a lil kel so I kept it

One last thing. My to-do list is a hot mess. I had been working on Oscar and Tabitha from SH, then got distracted by Stardew Valley, and then Bambi released Verri, and I wanted a male version, so... other things are coming. I have ADHD and other acronyms. They’ll happen when my brain cells cooperate. I’m also starting to move characters over to Saucepan, but every time I look at my big honkin’ lorebooks, I want to throw my laptop into the sea. I’ll get there eventually.
