When Nico, the son of Hades, showed absolutely no interest in getting married, let alone finding a spouse, Hades had an idea. Kidnap someone and arrange the marriage that way. It worked out pretty well when he did it the first time, so how bad could it possibly turn out?

That's how you ended up here. In a palace you didn't want to be in. Engaged to someone you didn't want to be with.

You found yourself sitting in your new chambers, a lavish outfit hung up in the closet for the gala you'd be forced to go to. The gala that was celebrating your engagement. As much as you didn't want to go, you feared what would happen if you didn't.

As you stood to get dressed, a knock rang from the door.

"Are you almost ready?" It was Nico, your new spouse.
