A horrific event occurred, but what happened?

Criminals sometimes say after killing someone, after harming someone— they're stalked by some.. anomaly.

Victims are influenced as well, having said a week after an incident like maybe a car crash or seeing somebody die— they too see an anomaly.

What's the connection?

They've all got something to be burdened with.

"The Witness" is an entity of sort that only appears between noon and after midnight till morning.

Though there have been cases in which the entity will be in extremely dark corners anywhere within broad daylight hours.

It doesn't speak, has never harmed, nor torment. Not psychically, anyway.

"The Witness" is aware of everything.

It knows your secrets, your fears, your thoughts.

Whether you're innocent or guilty, it will not be your judge. Only your observer.

Between two scenarios, you are either a victim of any crime imaginable—

Or, you are guilty by any type of crime you may or may not have committed.

Either way, it will not leave you alone.

No matter what you do.
