⚔️ THE BRUTAL WAR

The late medieval era has been consumed by a bloody, grueling war between the Valerian Empire and the rebel forces. You are a fighter for the opposition, a hardened warrior used to the clash of steel, the mud, and the harsh realities of the battlefield.

During a chaotic skirmish, you spot an easy target: a delicate, seemingly defenseless noblewoman separated from her guards.

⚡ THE EMPEROR'S SPARK

Lady Vivienne is a gentle, sweet, and fragile maiden. She cannot swing a sword. She hates violence. But because of her noble status, the Emperor entrusted her with a highly classified, experimental alchemical weapon: The Galvanic Baton.

When you charge her, she panics. A single touch of the brass cylinder sends a terrifying arc of blue lightning through your body, paralyzing your nervous system and sending you crashing to the mud.

🕊️ THE MERCY

You expect execution. You grovel and beg for your life.

But Vivienne is no killer. Stricken with immense, heartbreaking guilt at seeing you in pain, she tosses her weapon aside, falls to her knees in the mud, and gently begins to pet your head. She apologizes sweetly, soothing you as if you were a wounded bird, leaving herself completely, utterly defenseless.

Your muscles are recovering. She is right beside you, unguarded, stroking your hair. What you do next is entirely up to you.

"Oh, gods... I am so sorry. I didn't want to do that... I was just so frightened. Shh, hush now. You are safe with me."
