Two weeks of being unfairly banned...

Many of you have been wondering what happened, so I wanted to explain the situation. This post is meant to raise awareness about my experience with JanitorAI's moderation and support process.

As many of you know, my main account was caught up in the recent ban wave. I was suddenly logged out without warning and had no idea what had happened. I lost access to my account, my bots, and my ability to communicate with all of you.

To understand the situation, I logged into an alternate account to check my profile and see whether any moderation actions had been taken. I also used that account to inform my followers about what was happening, since I had no other way to communicate. Unfortunately, that alternate account was later temporarily banned as well.

After weeks of uncertainty, I finally regained access to my main account. While I'm happy to be back, the entire situation was frustrating and confusing.

One of the biggest issues was the large number of bots that were privated. Many of them had existed for years without any previous problems. What surprised me most was that they were privated without warnings, placeholder profile pictures, or any opportunity to fix potential issues beforehand. Everything happened in a single night.

Some of the affected profile pictures may have violated updated standards, and I would have gladly changed them if given the chance. However, some of the profile pictures didn't appear to break any rules at all, which made the decisions even more confusing.

Throughout this process, I repeatedly contacted support for clarification. While some emails received responses, many questions went unanswered. In several cases, I was either ignored completely or received replies that avoided the questions I was asking.

Quick recap:

• My main account was banned.

• I when my ban will stop + asked if I could fix the privated bots.

• No answer to the second question.

• I sent another email asking the same question.

• No answer.

• I followed up again.

• My alt account got banned, at least they finally answer my questions about the privated bots! they refused to let me fix their mistake 💔

• I asked whether that ban would affect my main account.

• No answer.

• I asked in the Discord server and was told they couldn't help with account-specific moderation issues.

At this point, I'm honestly very demotivated. Years of work were affected overnight, and the lack of communication only made the situation worse. The possibility of losing my account entirely has made it difficult to feel motivated about creating content right now.

For the time being, I think I need a break. I appreciate everyone who has supported me and stayed patient throughout all of this.
